GET YOUR READ ON, WOODLAND WILDCATS!

OCTOBER 31ST - NOVEMBER 11TH

GOAL: Get excited about reading, Wildcats! The Friends of Woodland PTO is sponsoring our 2022-2023 Reading is aWESome competition Monday, Oct 31 – Friday, Nov 11. We want Woodland students in every grade/classroom to read at least 20 minutes every day of our upcoming event. This campaign gives your child a reason to read and helps in the development of stronger reading skills, and the competition element makes it fun.

WHAT FUNDS RAISED SUPPORTS: This is the PTO’s MAJOR annual fundraiser, and our goal is to raise $12,500 this year! We are committed to providing every child with the resources they need for a bright academic future. The funds raised support many of the programs that make Woodland a unique and innovative learning center. Past projects include:

> upgrading technology, reading programs, and the WES gardens and hydroponics lab
> purchasing supplies for our music and arts programs
> maintaining our playgrounds
> supporting field trips and after school clubs
> supporting programs for our students with special needs

But Woodland has busy families with limited time. We want this to be the easiest fundraiser possible. By simply activating your reader’s personal page, you can share updates on their progress. Friends and family anywhere in the world can show their support for your child’s Reading Adventure by donating during the campaign. Our site’s promotional tools make it easy!

PRIZES: All students that register and participate will receive a Free Dress Pass and compete for class and individual prizes. Let the reading games begin…

Thank you for your support, Wildcats!
