2024-2025 Friends of Woodland Parent-Teacher Organization (FOW PTO) Mini-Grants to Woodland Staff

The Friends of Woodland Parent-Teacher Organization (FOW PTO) is offering Mini Grants of up to $500. Grants will be awarded to staff members who need financial assistance with special projects, materials, or classroom resources. A total of $6,000 may be awarded during the 2024-2025 school year.  Deadline for Fall applications is 5PM Monday, September 30th

The Need

The goal of Mini Grants is to keep students interested and engaged in learning and to supplement supplies/resources provided by WES and Fulton County.  In the past, Mini Grants have provided funds for dozens of projects. Successful applications will demonstrate creativity and innovation in improving the classroom and learning experience as well as inspire students.

How Does It Work?

Through a simple online application, Woodland teachers and staff can apply for a grant of up to $500. The objective is to encourage and support staff members who have great ideas that will enhance the learning experience for students. Mini Grants can be used to purchase supplies and materials for special projects; provide resources for the classroom; and support projects and programs that are not covered by school budgets or other means.

Reporting

All grant recipients are expected to report on the expenditure of grant funds and results of the supported project by the end of the school year (May 2025).

Who Can Apply?

All Woodland staff members are invited to apply.
