Welcome from Your Co-Presidents!
Dear Woodland Elementary Families,
We are thrilled to welcome you to another exciting school year with the Friends of Woodland Elementary PTO! As your 2026–27 Co-Presidents, we’re honored to serve this vibrant, caring community.
Emily Bell is returning this year, having previously served as Co-President at both Spalding Drive and Woodland. She brings a deep commitment to our schools and has three children—two attending Woodland (James - 4th, Heidi - 1st) and one at Ridgeview Middle, where she is also active on the PTO.
Samantha Pomeroy is new this year as President, and in her third year serving on the PTO. She has two children - Madeline (2nd) and William (5th) - and greatly enjoys serving the school and community.
Together, we’ve been working hard with our board and volunteers to plan a calendar full of joy, connection, and tradition. You can look forward to big family fun at the Fall Festival and Bingo Night, as well as student favorites like the Wildcat Run. We’ll also continue supporting our teachers and staff through Feel Good Fridays (previously Thankful Thursdays), Mini-Grants, STEM Grants, and Staff Appreciation Week—because we know they’re the heart of our school.
We’re especially excited to extend a warm welcome to the new families joining the Woodland PTO community. Get ready to enjoy our Spirit Nights, meet new faces, and make memories that last.
We look forward to partnering with you this year!
Warmly,
Emily Bell & Samantha Pomeroy
Co-Presidents, Friends of Woodland Elementary School PTO
