Welcome from Your Co-Presidents!

Dear Woodland Elementary Families,

We are thrilled to welcome you to another exciting school year with the Friends of Woodland Elementary PTO! As your 2025–26 Co-Presidents, we’re honored to serve this vibrant, caring community.

Emily Bell is new to Woodland this year, having previously served as Co-President at Spalding Drive. She brings a deep commitment to our schools and has three children—two attending Woodland and one at Ridgeview Middle, where she is also active on the PTO.

Chris Cornell returns with two children at Woodland—Emelia (2nd grade) and Emmit (5th grade). His wife, Erlyn, serves on the PTO Board as our Co-VP of Communications, helping keep everyone connected and informed.

Together, we’ve been working hard with our board and volunteers to plan a calendar full of joy, connection, and tradition. From beloved favorites like Popsicles on the Playground and the Fall Festival to the triumphant return of Bingo Night, there’s truly something for everyone. We’ll also continue supporting our teachers and staff through Thankful ThursdaysMini-GrantsSTEM Grants, and Staff Appreciation Week—because we know they’re the heart of our school.

We’re especially excited to extend a warm welcome to our friends from Spalding Drive and all new families joining the Woodland PTO community. Get ready to enjoy our Spirit Nights, meet new faces, and make memories that last.

We look forward to partnering with you this year!

Warmly,

Emily Bell & Chris Cornell

Co-Presidents, Friends of Woodland Elementary School PTO
